Here's why Silver Linings and Argo could win.DGA is big, but it's not the be-all-end-all this year.So what if 300 out of 5700 didn't squeeze Affleck in or sakequed ORussell in. IMO, Affleck still had a lot of people vote and I'm sure he just missed. Ans . 15000 in DGA don't. Vote. For. The. Oscar. 5400 other people who aren't in the directors branch do.Who's to say that those 5400 and quite a few of the 300 in directors branch won't vote for Argo or SLP?? I mean, why not?I want Lincoln to win. I think it deserves to win. I think it also deserves actor, supp actor, writng, etc.. But there is support for SLP. And I think there a lot of 5400 in the academy who are outraged by what the directors did and will throw support to Affleck for Best Picture, and they probably love it anyway.Am I completely out of line with that?

Ooh! I saw the original Star Wars troligy at a theater like that in Phoenix. No balcony, but absolutely giant screen, velvet everywhere, lovely. They tore it down and put up a finance building around ten years ago. I drive past the location every work day, and I flip the bird when I get to that corner. Every time.

a lot about your character that you're still with us and fnithigg for what you believe in. Maybe Jams does feel the same way as you did but who really knows how he feels about this stuff. The way I heard it was that he's just laughing at everybody that gets up and does an honest day's work each and everyday. To me that's just disgusting and, in Tim's words, qualifies him as a complete dirtbag. And yes, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

We love camping at Stillwater, it is very convenient since it's about 30 minutes from our house. Very clean and fun family park with some gorgeous sites. No hookups (none of Vermont's state parks have them).

We stayed at Stillwater State Park in Aug 1993 and Aug 1994. This is a quiet, smaller state park that is perfect if you are looking to get away from life's complexities. I gave a low rating for Attractions only because this site is fairly remote. And we did not explore too much outside of the campground since our children were young at the time. There is a general store in nearby Marshfield with groceries and camping supplies. Lake Groton is a beautiful, scenic lake with opportunities for swimming at the campground beach, boating (rentals available) and fishing. There are many hiking trails in the area as well. We hiked up to the top of Owl's Head on one of the trips, which our 4 year old was able to do. The campground is clean and well-kept. The ranger lives in a residence on-site, so he has motivation to keep it so. One night there was some loud partying after the 10pm quiet time, and it was taken care of quickly. Most sites are in the woods and feel private. There is abundant nature to be explored here -- this is where we saw our first Woodcock. :-) There is a small nature center within walking distance that has some neat local animals and items. Vermont has some great state parks and this is one of them.
