We visited here this Memorial Day weekend (2005), and liked the campground quite well. Our only word of advise is to avoid sites 201-203. On the map it appears that you could back right in to your spot from the main road, but in actuallity it is a pretty steep hill. You must hope that the people in the sites backing up to yours do not arrive before you, because the sites are like being "double parked". You have to go through someone else's site to get to yours. The owner failed to mention this on the phone, said the sites were "perfect for a pop up" It was our 2nd adventure with our brand new Jayco 1207, and when we had to manually move the camper into our site, the front wheel got turned on the wet ground and buckled, and bent the post on the winch. Our very helpful camping neighbors came to the rescue as the front of the camper went thud to the ground. All in all the weekend was alot of fun...we don't mind sites close together, but if you do mind, you should avoid busy weekends. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and would be a great fall get away to take in the colors!!!! Lots of activities for young and old!!!
