Odd, I've never seen a sign like that around here. I find it unusual that you should watch for elderly peretsdians but other pedestrians are on their own. LOLJust posted my mellow yellow photos for this week. Sandy

Scenery is great, but the campground needs a makeover and restrooms are not up to par.

This campground did not have a Lucky Strike Mine and Gemstone Panning attraction or a mounted wildlife exhibit as advertised. The staff was definatly not friendly!! We were put on a lot and set up our pop-up camper, which takes a long time to do. After being on the lot for about 3 hours the manager came over to us and told us that he put us on the wrong lot and that we had to move. We had to pack up all of our stuff and move then reset up. Then he said when we were done that we had to go down to the office. We thought that we were going to get a discount because of all of our hassel but nope. We asked if we could have a discount because of it and they were very rude about it. The owner of the campground was there and as we were leaving the office she yelled out at us sarcastically, can't wait to have you back. It was awful. Also there were NO planed activities and we talked to one of the seasonal people there and they said the manager is always a jerk. The pool was really tiny. The one thing i will say it was a nice place to bring our dogs because there was a lake other than that I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

Small, quiet, family-oriented, no organized children's activities, but things to do: swimming, fishing, canoeing (rentals or bring your own), tubing (rentals or bring your own), launch access for kayaks (no rentals). Nature trail for hiking, biking and pets allowed in park. Each site is grassy, has W/E hook up, fire ring and picnic table. Camp store carries snacks, ice, wood, sundries, limited groceries, toys, etc. Creekside and riverside sites as well as 'interior' sites, seasonal sites, pavillion, horseshoes, playgrounds, metered showers, coin laundry, dump station and dumping service twice weekly. Sites are somewhat close to one another and wide open between, with only a few exceptions. RESTFUL, RELAXING, QUIET
