Greetings, I think your web site could be having internet browser coattmibilipy problems. When I take a look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other than that, great blog!

We stayed here for the first time. It only 30 min from our house and I had bought a WV fishing license for another trip so it was a perfect fir for a quick get-a-way. I love how all the campsites are very wooded and all most every site was pull thru for all of u amature backeruppers like me. We had a great time here. May 1-2 still being the off season half the camp was closed as well as Mini golf and pool. But still a good time.

Well, seeing as how I was born and raised, and still live within 5 minutes of this park, needless to say I've camped here an uncountable number of times, and spend many many days fishing and hiking. This park is for those that want a relaxing area, without noise from the playgrounds, pool area, etc. There are not very many good attractions for small children (3-4yrs or younger)however there is a nice picnic area below the campground with mini golf, swing sets, and picnic shelters. My personal favorite part of this park is the history, which, if you do not research it, wouldn't know that there are many many building foundations in the woods off of trails from old mills. In addition to the "big pond" (33acres) there are three small bass ponds that sit up in the woods. You can do some great bass fishing here. To get to these, you will park in teh small area at the bottom of the campground hill. If you are looking in the direction to go back up the hill, right past the gate entrance to the park you'll see a foot trail that goes into the woods. The three ponds are located off of this trail. Sorry for the long review, but I love this park. Happy Camping!!!

This was one of our last trips where we tented in before the purchase of our Pop-Up. We really liked the campground as it is extremely close to Pittsburgh, where we live. The sites are generally well-shaded, and we found the people to be quiet in the evening and friendly during the day, the best kind of campers! Generally the sites to the left of the camp office are larger (the sites near the "rent a tent" area), than the sites to the right. The pool is a draw for families, and it is very large and impressive with a great slide; however, on hot days it is an attraction for the local community. Our son was very overwhelmed by the number of bodies in the pool and refused to get in. You were unable to "swim" because of the sheer number of people in it, but you could enjoy the cool water. If you have little ones, you will need to drive to the pool as it is quite a hike from the camping area. There is a fishing pond that can also be driven too. Near the office, there is a nice shaded playground. Beware of raccoons, apparently this campground is known for its hungry and obsese raccoons. We encountered them at our site both nights. By the second night we had removed anything that might even smell or look like food, but they still wandered through and made a mess.

We are from Pittsburgh area and it's real close for us. The camp ground is real laid back. Some sites are big and some arn't. Great pool, mini golf. You must drive to these attractions.
